Fair Values
Major market developments and valuation parameters that have an impact on the fair values of Vonovia are assessed on an ongoing basis.
The new valuation in the first half of 2025 led to net income from fair value adjustments of investment properties of € 520.3 million (H1 2024: € -1,432.0 million). In addition, buildings under construction (New construction/Development to hold) were completed during the six-month period. A fair value measurement is performed for the first time when the properties are completed. This resulted in a valuation effect of € 0.5 million (H1 2024: € 2.6 million) for the first half of 2025, with this valuation effect included in the aforementioned valuation result.
