The income from non-current securities and non-current loans relates primarily to income from loans extended to the QUARTERBACK property companies. The drop is due to the offsetting of the impairment loss on receivables from the QUARTERBANK Immobilien Group resulting from interest against the corresponding interest income earned.
The change in interest received and similar income is due to the increase in interest on credit balances paid by (savings) banks.
In the previous year, interest income was mainly shaped by income from the partial repayment of bonds in the amount of € 127.6 million.
Other interest and similar income in the reporting year includes income of € 0.8 million (2023: € 0.3 million) from the discounting of provisions.
